Micro Gimbal Stabilizer (MGS) is a groundbreaking mechanical image stabilization technology, backed by +110 patents across multiple engineering disciplines. Celebrated with +20 international awards and endorsed by leading industry players like Insta360, MGS is setting a new standard in camera stabilization.
Unlike traditional systems, MGS moves the lens and image sensor together in the opposite direction of vibrations—like a gimbal, but in a compact form. This synchronized motion eliminates any relative shift between the lens and sensor, delivering exceptional anti-shaking performance. With wide compensation angles and consistent stabilization across the entire frame, MGS ensures crystal-clear images even in low-light environments.
This innovation stems from a universal frustration: blurry images caused by hand movement. While traditional OIS and electronic stabilizers offer partial relief, they often fall short in unstable or low-light environments. To overcome these limitations, we developed MGS that redefines what’s possible in mobile image stabilization.
At the core of this breakthrough is our 3-axis MGS that connects the image sensor to the stator using just 4 precision balls and a single typhoon-inspired Flexible Printed Circuit. In contrast, conventional gimbals require 12 balls, 2 rotors, and coaxial cables. This minimalist design not only reduces the gimbal’s size by 90%—down to the size of a sugar cube—but also enhances reliability and manufacturability.
This compact form factor doesn’t compromise performance. MGS achieves up to ±8° of compensation angle—up to 700% better than traditional OIS. When paired with Sony STARVIS sensors, it enables up to 16× longer exposure times, capturing sharp, clear images even in low light. This level of clarity also boosts AI-based object recognition, expanding its value across smart applications.
MGS is already in mass production and being deployed in robotics, smart helmets, laser rangefinders, and sports cameras—demonstrating its versatility, and readiness for global market expansion.
